...Ministering to Widows...

Now there was one, Anna, a prophetess...
She was of a great age, and had lived with a husband seven years from her virginity; and this woman was a widow of about eighty-four years, who did not depart from the temple, but served God with fastings and prayers night and day.
Luke 2:36-37

Patti Varner

Patti is a retired educator with an undergrad degree in Early Childhood and a Masters in Ed. Leadership. She is the mother of 2 daughters, 2 sons-in-law, and 5 grandchildren, who all love and follow our Lord.
She began attending CCM in 2020 and volunteers in Childrens ministry and participates in the women’s group. God laid it upon her heart to begin a ministry with widows. Patti understands widowhood from a personal perspective, having been a widow herself since 2011. Learning the value of being a prayer warrior from her mom, Patti's desire is to teach women to maximize their time by intercession in prayer for our church, community, and families.
Outside of church, she serves once a week at the Chestnut Mountain Ranch school as a librarian and sorts books at the Ranch Community Store.
