Shawn Frasher
Pastor
Shawn is originally from Los Angeles, California. Upon leaving 15 years of service in the Navy, Shawn entered full-time ministry as an Assisting Pastor at Calvary Chapel El Cajon, CA. After serving on staff for 3 years, he sensed God calling him to step out in faith and to plant a church in Morgantown, WV. He, his wife Val, and their 3 sons moved to WV in 2002 and started a home fellowship that has grown into Calvary Chapel Morgantown. In his free time, Shawn enjoys reading, kayaking, and hiking.
Drew Buckley
Assisting Pastor
Drew is originally from Bel Air, Maryland and started attending Calvary Chapel Morgantown in October 2016. He graduated from West Virginia University in 2017 and began his pastoral internship with CCM in January of 2018. Drew enjoys leading Calvary Training and loves to spend his free time with his wife Amanda and their three children.
Mel Santiago
Administrative Assistant
Mel, originally from Northern Virginia, began attending Calvary Chapel in the summer of 2020. Prior to becoming Administrative Assistant at Calvary Chapel, Mel was a 4th & 5th grade teacher for four years. She met her husband, Alex, serving in summer camp ministry. Mel enjoys spending time with her husband, hiking, and playing with her dog, Charlotte.
Sasha Murray
Children's Ministry Director
Sasha, born and raised in SW Pennsylvania, entered the pharmaceutical industry as a chemist in Morgantown in 2012 and began attending CCM in 2014. Sasha has a heart for children and is grateful for the opportunity to serve and share God’s unconditional love with them. Sasha enjoys being outside in God’s beautiful creation and spending time with her two pit bull rescues, and always has room for just one more.
Eryn Harris
Children's Ministry Assistant Director
Eryn, originally from New England, began attending CCM in 2021 with her husband, Clint, following the Lord’s call to West Virginia. After working as a youth circus coach for nearly 7 years, Eryn has an immense love for children and is blessed to share the love, joy, and truth of Christ through service. Eryn works as a Project Coordinator, but in her free time enjoys reading, going on walks, and baking.
Leah Woods
Children's Ministry Assistant
Leah, born in California, moved at the age of 10 to SW Pennsylvania where her dad started a Calvary Chapel. Leah served at Calvary Chapel Christian school in PA for over 20 years. She has a love for kids and desires for them to know and grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. Leah and her husband Phillip have 3 sons, 3 daughters-in-law, and 6 grandchildren. Her hobbies are reading, crocheting and spending time with her family.

Jacob Wagner
Worship Leader
Jacob is originally from Morgantown and graduated from the West Virginia University College of Business and Economics in 2014. He has attended Calvary Chapel Morgantown since 2010 and considers it a great privilege and blessing to lead the congregation in worship. In his free time, Jacob enjoys cooking, traveling with his wife Rachel and their 3 children, and taking hikes with their two dogs.
Chad Frasher
Men's Ministry Leader
Chad, originally from Long Beach, CA, moved to Morgantown in 2002. Over the past 18 years he has served in many capacities and is thankful for the privilege to serve wherever there is a need. In 2012, he graduated with his MBA from Fairmont State where he met his wife Samantha. They now have 3 children and enjoy spending time as a family. In his free time he enjoys home renovations and spending time outdoors.
Val Frasher
Women's Ministry Leader
Val, originally from Morgantown, grew up in Los Angeles, CA, where she met and married Pastor Shawn in 1984. In 2002, Val and her family relocated to Morgantown to plant Calvary Chapel. She has 3 grown boys, two daughters-in-law, two grand-daughters and one grandson. Val enjoys encouraging women to be the women God has called them to be and to walk worthy of that calling. In her spare time she likes to kayak and spend time with her family.
Tyler & Liz Etris
High School Leaders
Tyler, from Morgantown, and Liz, from Dallas, met at the University of Tennessee. They married in 2011 and moved to West Virginia. Tyler is an architect and Liz is a full time mom to their 2 daughters who also works as a designer. They love to travel and participate in anything competitive. They are blessed to be able to disciple high schoolers in their journey with Christ and to equip them with the necessary tools to love and serve others.
Drew & Amanda Buckley
Middle School Leaders
Drew and Amanda are originally from Bel Air, Maryland and are both graduates of West Virginia University. They began attending Calvary Chapel Morgantown in 2016 and have been grateful to sit under the teaching of God's word and to serve in the middle school group. Drew and Amanda love to spend their free time being active with their 3 children.
Ethan & Amanda Wine
Couples Ministry Leaders
Ethan and Amanda were born and raised in WV. They were married in 2018. Ethan started attending CCM in 2012, Amanda in 2017, and they have been serving in the Couples Ministry since 2021. Their heart and prayer is to have a Christ-centered marriage and to be a godly example of what a biblical marriage should look like. They both enjoy and make a habit of planning their next date night together.
John & Amy Wagner
Marriage/Relational Intimacy Leaders
John and Amy, born and raised in WV, have lived in Morgantown since 1998 and starting attending CCM in 2007. They married in 1991, have 5 children and 6 grandchildren. For many years they have counseled couples and individuals in biblical financial principles, realizing that this is only part of the issue that prevents intimacy with God, their spouse, and their family. Their experiences have given them insights into how to form and live out a biblical worldview.
Cassie Bernhart
Hospitality /Meals Ministry Coordinator
Cassie grew up in Morgantown and moved back to the area in the fall of 2020 with her husband, Jamison. She graduated from Liberty University in 2013 and has moved several times in the past years for her husband’s career as an airline pilot. Cassie is thankful for the opportunity to grow with others in the Calvary Chapel community and help our church guests feel welcomed and loved in the fellowship of Christ’s followers.
